TWO members of the Ridge Park Bowling section competed in Johannesburg Bowling Association “Perfect Delivery” Senior Pairs competition and held their own.
Lyn McKinnon and Olive Maguire recently made it through to the finals of the JBA competition, held at Roosevelt Park Bowling club, and in the final they triumphed over a team from Killarney Bowls club. They won the competition for a second time, which is no mean feat.
Lyn McKinnon was also selected to play in the JBA “Perfect Delivery” Senior Masters, played at the Wanderers Bowling club. She won her section and played in the finals and turned out runner-up in the competition.
