Orlando Pirates will host SuperSport United this coming Saturday.
The host will play against a beefed-up SuperSport United in their first clash of the new 2014/2015 Premier Soccer League season.
The match at Orlando Stadium kicks off at 20:15.
“We are very happy with our pre-season preparations and just came out of a win against Chiefs, but we will face a stronger SuperSport United,” said Head coach Vladimir Vermezovic. “We have a good squad and made a few changes. We also don’t have any injuries, but we are aware of the new strength that awaits us,”
PSL has urged football fans to purchase tickets for this weekend’s MTN8 quarter-final clashes.
Tickets are still available for all four fixtures – starting with Friday night’s season opener that will see Bidvest Wits take on Bloemfontein Celtic at the Bidvest Stadium. Tickets are now on sale at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide at R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12.
The MTN8 tournament will usher in the 2014/15 season – with the first game scheduled for the first weekend of August 2014.
