SANSUI Summer shortlisted for Sport Industry Awards

ONE of the country’s premier horse racing events, the SANSUI Summer Cup, proudly hosted by Gauteng, has been voted as one of the top six live sporting experiences in South Africa and included on the Official Shortlist for the Discovery Sport Industry Awards 2014.

The Discovery Sport Industry Awards reward the greatest achievements across the entire business of sport, including the most outstanding and innovative work in marketing, PR, advertising, community investment and sponsorship.

The Awards’ Official Shortlist for 2014 includes campaigns and brands from a wide range of sports – including rugby, football, cricket, mixed martial arts, cycling, athletics, golf, basketball, boxing, horse racing – and some of the world’s most renowned brands.

The shortlist of nominees represent the very best the South African sport industry has to offer and are the result of two days of intensive judging by key industry figures who gathered to produce a list of nominees under the watchful eye of auditing firm Deloitte.

The SANSUI Summer Cup is the only high-profile horse racing event to have made the shortlist across all categories.

Skinstad congratulated the SANSUI Summer Cup and all others shortlisted.

This year, the SANSUI Summer Cup will be run on Saturday November 30. “It’s set to take the live experience to the next exhilarating level.
