Seven trees for Tambotie

“The trees were very kindly sponsored by the Klipriver Urban Biodiversity Corridor (KUBiC) and were planted as part of a celebration for Africa Week 2016."

ON Friday, May 13, the children at Tambotie Preparatory School, in Chrisville, assisted Jessica Janse van Rensburg (Miss Earth South Africa Ambassador) in planting seven beautiful indigenous trees.

“The trees were very kindly sponsored by the Kliprivier Urban Biodiversity Corridor (KUBiC) and were planted as part of a celebration for Africa Week 2016. They were planted along the fence where they will grow to help shade the playground and give some privacy.

“I always love working with this awesome school and believe they are an absolute gem of the South. The principal, Diane van Staden, and her colleagues run the school at a very high standard and I am always warmly welcomed,” added Jessica.
