Thank you for making a difference

August 14 marked a very special day for Suidheuwels Primary as Miss SA visited our school at 10:00.

All the pupils assembled in the hall and we were addressed by her.

She spoke to all of us about the significance of talking about being bullied or manipulated by anybody. She stressed the importance of not being influenced to do the wrong things by anybody.

She made us all aware of the fact that we should not be misled into doing things against our will.

She also addressed us all about our ideals and dreams and that we should all remain focused on our ultimate goal of being whatever we want to be in life and to focus on excelling in our school work.

A number of our Grade 7 pupils and councillors were called to the stage to share their dreams and ideals.

Sue Lubbe and Friends were thanked for organising their visit and for bringing them to our school.

We would all like to see that our learners excel in their school work and attain their best and reach their maximum potential.

The school had another highlight at the beginning of the term when our new Deputy Principal, Mr Mervyn Crosby, started at our school. We are looking forward in engaging with him.

He is an expert Mathematician and he shall endeavour to use his skills and knowledge to help improve our pupils’ Maths marks thereby ensuring that they have a good background and stepping stone to help them reach their full potential in life.

The pupils and parents welcomed him to our school and wish him well in all his endeavours.

The school would like to invite all parents to truly embrace our goals and vision and to join hands in the true spirit of UBUNTU by involving themselves in all our projects, for the benefit of the pupils and the community at large.

The first priority of all parents is to pay each child’s school fees and to see that pupils are at school and on time every day.

Frik Visagie
Suidheuwels Primary principal.
