LIKE the farmer who owns the land, the land gives the farmer the choice to plant in it. The land does not care, but guarantees to return whatever has been planted. This is the same with the human mind, you have it and it is yours and it does not care what you plant in it, but guarantees to return whatever you choose to plant.
So keep on taking stock of what you are growing compared to what you desire to grow. To succeed in life you need to develop a winner’s mindset. You only develop this winner’s mindset by reading self-help books, autobiographies, audio CDs, attending seminars, workshops, conferences, classes and by having a mentor and coach to guide and challenge you. This will make you realise you only succeed in life because of what you do, not because of what is being done to you or happening to you, as these factors will always be at play.
When you believe greatness is possible for you and it is necessary for you to unleash it, then you’ll also accept the fact that it will get difficult, it won’t come easy at all. Once the acceptance that you can’t outsource hard work and pain will come with it to someone else, you’ll feel much better. Your gifts are only yours and so you have to do the hard work yourself, you have to be deliberate about it.
Protect your mind with everything you have by not letting people empty their trash bins on it, worse, even yourself by feeding it negative stuff, as it will grow faster and stop you from realising your dreams.
