Time is marching on, pardon the pun, and what a lot of gorgeous winter clothing is coming into the shops.

Yes, dresses seem back again for another season and I would say they are my favourite item of clothing to wear. So easy, just one garment and you’re ready to go! No thinking about what will go with what and deciding whether to tuck in or leave out.

Recently launched

I’ve been using TRESemmé hair shampoo and conditioner for quite some time and I see they have launched three specially formulated co-washes – Botanic, Keratin Smooth and the Platinum Strength – which will transform how their customers care for their hair.

Co-washes are relatively new to the South African market. The term is short for ‘conditioner-only washing’. They are essentially cleansing conditioners, free from ingredients like sulphates, parabens and dye.

This co-wash range will gently cleanse and deeply moisturise your hair without stripping it of its natural oils, leaving hair feeling moisturised, smooth and protected.

The TRESemmé co-wash range is now available at Dis-Chem, Pick n Pay, Checkers and Clicks retailers nationwide.

Good old-fashioned puddings

Do you remember the puddings your gran made for you? I used to love rice pudding and sago. I see Woolworths has a 500g packet of sago for R23.99. I’m not sure how easy it will be to make, but I’ve bought a packet and will be giving it a try soon. My nana used to serve it with a teaspoon of jam in the middle, which was obviously stirred around, making the creamy pudding all pink. Ummm, I don’t think I’ll eat it this way now. And what about bread and butter pudding? This is delicious and so easy to make. Serve with thick fresh cream or lashings of creamy custard.

That’s it for this week. Shop till you drop!
