Last week I was privileged to meet Natalie du Toit and what a pleasure it was. She was lovely and so down to earth. I was interviewing a team of guys who are swimming The Midmar Mile to raise funds for The Teddy Bear Foundation and Natalie has come on board. I take my hat off to them and wish them all the very best of luck.
Give way – it’s the right thing to do
So, we are already well into 2018 and as everyone is back at school and work, the roads are once again hectic and dare I say, full of many impatient and rude drivers. If I leave the office around 4.30pm and get onto the N12 West via the Voortrekker on-ramp, I put on my indicator to join the highway and am then amazed that drivers don’t give way to let me in. I don’t know where they expect me to go because the slip lane actually runs out, which means I’m left to drive in the emergency lane. If you are one of these driver’s, take a chill pill and give way to let a car in. I promise it’s not going to add even a minute to your journey and you may even feel good. Worth a try!
