The Bag Lady

I enjoyed a cup of coffee and a slice of delicious cake at Thyme Café Restaurant, such friendly staff and it’s looking great with the children’s play area.

Women’s Day has come and gone. I hope you were right royally treated and at least managed to relax without having to do a whole lot of household chores. Apparently August is Women’s Month. I hope the guys reading this will take note and spoil their ladies a little this month.

My three favourite treats for August

The dishes are washed, dried and put away, without me having to ask.

An early morning cup of tea – in bed. (I’m always the first one up so this never happens, ha ha ha).

A bubble bath and candles and a glass of wine on the side!

Spring is in the air

I popped in to Tulip Garden Centre in Rifle Range, Haddon last week and saw the seedlings and plants are looking beautiful. Good prices too! Then I enjoyed a cup of coffee and a slice of delicious cake at Thyme Café Restaurant. Such friendly staff! The children’s play area is looking great. It is just perfect for parents with toddlers and young children. You can enjoy your meal while they enjoy playing. They aren’t far away either so you can keep an eye on them the whole time – so important these days.

New style

Sleeves are in and it seems the more ‘flowy’ the better! From blouses to dresses, flowing sleeves are a huge part of the spring fashion scene. I can’t make up my mind if I like them or not. To be honest, I haven’t tried any on yet. So, before I make a judgment I’ll pop along to the stores and see how they look on me.

That’s it for this week. Shop till you drop.
