When will this weather settle into the summer pattern? Saying that though, what is the summer pattern? The weather seems to be mixed up all over the world and now with a drought forecast all us gardeners, ummmm, well I like to think I fall into this category, will have to plant water wise.
At the garden club meeting I was at last week the guest speaker, Sally Mulligan, gave some good tips and advise on what to plant which won’t need too much watering. I’ll be following her advice.
Christmas shopping – begin early
You all know how much I love Christmas, buying gifts and generally getting into the festive spirit, and with only 11 weeks to Christmas…… and counting, I came across a website, www.logibear.co.za which has to be viewed if you have little children. The team at Logibear have put together a most unique and interesting Night Before Christmas Box ever! The boxes can be made up with yummy treats to eat, PJs, books, reindeer, food, movies, etc. One condition of this box is that the value of the goods selected must be R300 or more and you will be surprised how much you can fit into this box for R300. There is no limit, and if you want to make a combined box, you can do that too. The box will be packaged like a parcel with stamps and all.
Combined Sibling Boxes are available and custom orders to add too, the sky is the limit. Their motto is “If you can dream it, we can make it.” I can just imagine little ones receiving this box on Christmas Eve, how exciting it will be! Orders close on December 21 with deliveries in November.
