All things beautiful are in stores right now and whatever your favourite colour you will most definitely find something to suit you. I also found a treasure of a shop in Meyersdal Mall.

Spring-cleaning my wardrobe

As usual I’ve been having my annual sorting out of summer clothing and, as usual, I throw everything I don’t want any longer into a pile to give away and, as usual, hang most of it back up the next day!

It will cost a fortune to buy a “brand new” wardrobe of clothing but if you buy wisely, good quality and classic styles, you will be able to mix and match and create quite a few outfits.

One morning last week I tried on 10 different garments before I left for the office (you can imagine how frazzled I felt) and didn’t feel good in any of them. So here’s to a shopping spree!

A “wow” shop   

It’s not every day I find a shop which wows me! But last week when I popped into Moinooi in Meyersdal Mall and I can honestly say I’ve found a gem of a shop!

It’s the kind of shop I normally browse in the North and now lucky for us, we have our own here in the South. Within a few minutes I’d decided on five things to purchase (now, I just need to be paid) and I’ll go mad. Apart from gorgeous gifts, ideal for birthdays, engagements, weddings and a new home, they sell the latest pallet furniture, which they can customise for you.

Moinooi is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 and from 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays and you’ll find them at Shop 22, Meyersdal Mall, corners of Hennie Alberts Street and Michelle Avenue, Meyersdal. Bouquet of the Week

Cassim give a bouquet to TyreMart Booysens. “On July 7 I fitted four new tyres on a brand new long distance taxi purchased in February 2015. On August 8  my driver called me from Cape Town and reported that he had forgotten to tell me Tyremart had damaged the body of the vehicle a month ago ,when the tyres were fitted. I called TyreMart and spoke to Mohammad and all he asked was the date and registration. When the vehicle came to Johannesburg a week later I went to TyreMart and the manager, Robert, showed me the (ccv) video footage of the said day. It clearly shows how my vehicle was damaged by being placed on the wrong lift. They sent me to a panel beating shop where a professional job was done for their account. I am sure it cost more to repair my vehicle than the price of the tyres. They have restored my faith in mankind and TyreMart has a client for life. Thank you to Robert, Mohammad and Junaid for your assistance and honesty in resolving the matter.”
