The Bag Lady

What's The Bag Lady been up to this week? Read more to find out how she did with buying in the sales.

What did I say about 50 per cent off sales? Right on the spot, as Woolies began its sale last Tuesday and guess what …. fifty per cent off! I managed to buy quite a few Christmas gifts and because I have a Woolworths Reward Card I got an extra 10 per cent off the total. I spent about R600 in all and had three bags full of goods.  Now that’s what I call a sale! I’m waiting patiently for the clothing sale which I’m sure will be any day now.

Bouquets of the Week

To Inland North (Pevy, Kevin, Robbie and team) as well as Unilver, Pam from Lawn Street, Rosettenville gives you a huge bouquet. “I had a call from them asking if I needed any work done which they could do for their 67 minutes for Mandela Day. They arrived in full force and spruced up my garden like no one’s business. It looks absolutely amazing.  It resembled a jungle before their visit! Not content with leaving at that they came indoors and tidied up what I am unable to do. You are fantastic, no thanks will ever be enough.”

*Elizabeth King gives a bouquet to Dion from the bakery section in Checkers at SP Pereira Pavillion. “Dion noticed me standing waiting to get an onion weighed but there was no staff member in sight. He came all the way from the bakery to assist me and this he did with a smile.  Well done and thank you Dion!  It is people like you who make shopping worthwhile.”

That’s it for this week. Enjoy the sales and make a start on those Christmas gifts. Shop till you drop.
