Apologies to the family
A notice appeared in the Comaro CHRONICLE and Southern COURIER (page 6) April 30 under the heading – Residents be on the lookout for false officials.
MULBARTON – The notice *A dark green Golf 3 RZL…GP with two to four coloured males were spotted operating in the Mulbarton area near Bellairs and Walsingham drives in the early hours of Thursday morning between 02:00 and -04:00.
According to one of the family members who contacted the CHRONICLE with the correct number plate RZL 349GP, she had been to Mulbarton Hospital and had left with her family and was followed by a dark grey Hyundai to the traffic light on corner of Kliprivier and Bellairs drive. The dark grey Hyundai stopped behind the family at the traffic light and then persisted in following them to the traffic light on the corner of Kliprivier Drive and Impala Road, before turning back.
The information the newspaper printed is incorrect and we wish to apologise for any unnecessary upset caused to the family concerned.
