Sri Adi Shankara welcomes community

Seek, learn and embody spiritual enlightenment with the Sri Adi Shankara Ashrama.

The Sri Adi Shankara Ashrama welcomes all interested spiritual seekers, aspirants and the community to take advantage of the following activities offered at its centre in Winchester Hills.

Those interested can attend weekly prayers each Sunday from 09:00 to 11:00, consisting of prayers, music and the recital of the Sri Hanuman Chalisa.

Bhagavad Gita classes consisting of a verse-by-verse study of the holy scripture will start in February 2025, as will a children’s course on Hinduism covering many illuminating topics.

The ashrama has a nutritional development project similar to a feeding scheme, catering for those in need from Monday to Friday each week. It provides an ongoing supply of groceries and vegetables to deserving NGOs in the community, so donations towards this initiative are welcome.

An annual Diwali grocery hamper project is in progress.
