Jehovah Nissi Group make important donation
Camelia House receives support from church and community groups.
Jehovah Nissi Group (JNG) set out to impact Resthaven Ministries by donating 284 litres of cooking oil and blankets to the organisation.
In addition, the group gave Resthaven Ministries’ Camelia House R20 000.
The donations, made by the Assembly of God Church, MDS Collivery, and community members were delivered to Resthaven Ministries’ headquarters. JNG also treated the elderly ladies of Camelia House to a manicure session.
“We can’t stop talking about the blessing!” said pastor Neil Williams of Resthaven Ministries .“It is so amazing seeing a youth group doing good work.”
Pastor Moisés Bezerra of the Assembly of God Church was overjoyed with the event’s outcome. “It was great to see our young people involved in providing social assistance to the elderly and children at social risk.”
Pastor Ailton Alves thanked the youth leaders, Gomes Neto and Ruth Neto, and the entire church for their excellent work. “Thanks to everyone who made this possible.”
“We want to thank JNG Cares and Resthaven Ministries and to everyone involved, the work they do brings a smile to our elderly,” said Ruth Neto, vice-leader of JNG.
“We pray that the Lord carries on helping Resthaven Ministries so that it can impact more lives. We thank our pastor for allowing us to embark on JNG Cares, which we believe was a success. Not forgetting all those who opened their hearts and donated so that this day would be possible,” she continued.
JNG Cares is an annual social project executed by the youth group of the Assembly of God Church, JNG has been doing this since 2014.
JNG has collaborated with various organisations to contribute to the needs of their community. Their contribution to Resthaven Ministries is one of many projects that highlight their continuous dedication to this mission.
JNG Cares’ commitment to serving those in need underscores the importance of sustained support from donors.
This, combined with the group’s strong community backing, will drive the continuation of their good work.
