60 Minutes celebrating 60 years of volunteering

The SANParks honorary rangers, an official volunteer organisation to South African National Parks (SANParks), recently celebrated their 60th anniversary.

The Honorary Rangers (SHR) in the East Rand Region celebrated a milestone with a 60-minute invasive plant clean-up campaign at the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve.

On August 25, a passionate team from the SHR East Rand Region joined forces with the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve Association to eradicate Prickly Pear Cactus and Cluster-leaf Asparagus, two alien invaders threatening the Reserve’s delicate ecosystem.
