The Johannesburg Market Opportunity Centre (OC) celebrated women in and around the Joburg area with the aim of uplifting women.
Clr Faeeza Chame and Clr Rashieda Landis were among those leading the community who were in attendance to show their love, support, and commitment to the Women’s Day event.
In her address, Chame praised South African women for their societal role in building this nation, the strength they exude in their roles as mothers and the impactful guidance given by all the ladies.
The gathering was supported by the Economic Development Initiative, Agri Business, Old Mutual, HHBRC, NCL, Femade, NYDA, GEP, and Invest RSA.
Lady Dee, along with Angel, and OC Centre Manager Akona Bovula were the programme directors.
“To all women, keep shining, lifting others, and pushing boundaries, for you are a queen, a warrior, and a masterpiece in progress. Today and every day, celebrate the incredible women you are,” said Chame.
