Southgate Mall spoils pensioners

Southgate Mall hosted a pensioner’s day event where 100 pensioners received special treats.

Southgate Mall management, in collaboration with Wimpy, Dis-Chem, and Nandos hosted a Pensioners’ Day event for the elderly in the south on July 2.

The morning started with pensioners receiving hot tea, coffee, and sandwiches sponsored by Wimpy. The seniors received a box of serviettes, bottles, and Nandos vouchers.

There was also a nurse, sponsored by Dis-Chem, on-site to offer health checks for the pensioners as they received their pensions.

“We meticulously planned the event to feed, gift, and conduct health checks on 100 pensioners, and we are proud to report we achieved that. Thank you to all the participants and sponsors who contributed to making this event a remarkable success,” said Mbali Mahlori, Southgate Mall marketing manager.
