Support Park and Chill fundraiser event
Vasconcellos appeals to anyone who can make this boy’s dream come true.
Tonica Vasconcellos aka Mama Saint, is organising a Park and Chill fundraising event at Southdale Shopping Centre on June 29 from 13:00.
The cost is R30 per car and R10 walk-in. This event is in aid of the goalkeeper Stanford Banda (17) who wants to train in Spain.
The Grade 11 learner from Hoërskool Die Fakkel has secured an invitation to the Hola Skoko Tryout in Villaviciosa de Odón, Spain. He will train with their coach and play friendly matches against Spanish teams between August 18 and 31.
Banda is playing for Black City Aces in Turffontein under coach Sipho Shiba.
