Explore Melville Koppies, open every Sunday, offering a variety of activities including guided tours, self-guided heritage trails, and more.
Melville Koppies Nature Reserve is open every Sunday from 8:00 to 11:30 am.
Choose from many options: self-guide yourself on the 5km or 3km heritage trail, or book a guided tour (R100) on 079 532 0083 starting at 8.00 am sharp.
Don’t forget the second Sunday of the month poetry reading and open mic session. Last Sunday of the month, 8km guided hike leaving sharp at 8.30 am. And there’s the scavenger hunt for those with exploring minds.
If you can’t make it to this time, you can always book your own group guided tour on other days of the week. Let us know your interests so we can adapt the tour for you.
And share your knowledge with us too – we learn a lot from visitors who come to the Koppies which we then share with other visitors. R100 adults, R50 U18. Contact us to find out about special rates for school tours.
Safe parking opposite the entrance to Melville Koppies at Marks Park Sports Club in Judith Road, Emmarentia.
Cost: R90 adults and R50 U18 – all income used for maintenance of the Koppies. Security on the Koppies provided.
