Live to Dance talents seek sponsorship for UK representation

Eight talented young dancers from Live to Dance Studio are set to represent South Africa in the UK, but they need your support to make their dreams a reality.

Live to Dance has achieved a remarkable milestone as eight of its talented young dancers have qualified to represent the nation in the United Kingdom from June 25 to 30.

These young dancers, aged between 10 and 17, are not only showing their extraordinary abilities but are also in need of sponsorship to make their dreams a reality.

The eight girls who have earned the opportunity to represent South Africa are Lailah Chloe Fourie, Susanna Fransina Oosthuizen, Zekhethelo Mbalenhle Lethokuhle Ntumba, Mathapelo Tsholofelo Maduana, Kayla Lyn Elisa Serra Coelho, Rethabile Jaysia Radebe, Jasmine Mia de Villiers and Kaylee Reece Quinton.

As young dancers, they have demonstrated their dedication to dance and shown immense promise in their respective age groups.

Live to Dance, under the direction of Sasha-Lee Herbst, has been a significant force in the dance industry for years. Sasha-Lee, initially involved in dance at a competitive level, has transitioned into a professional role committed to imparting her extensive knowledge to her students.

Live to Dance officially opened its doors in January 2016 with four students, and Sasha’s passion for both her students and dance has since expanded the studio to include 250 more pupils.

Sasha-Lee’s philosophy centres around treating each student as an individual rather than just a number. She believes that recognising the unique qualities of each child is crucial to their development as dancers and individuals. This approach has contributed to the success of Live to Dance and the accomplishments of its students.

“Being selected to represent South Africa in an international dance competition is a significant achievement for these young dancers. However, with this opportunity comes the need for financial support.

“We are seeking sponsorship to cover various expenses, including flights, accommodation, visas, competition entry fees, and outfits.

“We are reaching out to the community for assistance in the form of donations or sponsorships to ensure that these talented dancers can fulfil their dream on the international stage,” said Sasha-Lee.
