Believers Care Society offers courses to improve oneself

To qualify one must be between 18 and 35 years old.

Believers Care Society – The Centre of Excellence for Youth Development invites unemployed and unskilled youth to register for its January 2024 intake for an accredited skills development training programme at no cost.

The programme is already supported through the Gauteng Department of Social Development. Registration closes on January 19 and classes resume on January 21.

Courses offered include office skills/admin NQF 3, computer course NQF 3, project management NQF 4, PC engineering NQF 4, mobile engineering, contact centre support/ call centre course, computerised bookkeeping/pastel accounting, graphic/ multimedia design NQF 4, system development NQF 4, Cisco IT essentials, sound engineering NQF 5, and basic kitchen appliances repair course NQF 2.

Certification is issued at the successful completion of the course, and a course graduation ceremony will be held.
Registration requirements include a copy of ID, proof of residence or police affidavit confirming address, a short CV, and previous qualifications/no qualifications, all certified. Must be willing to study and to complete training for project duration.

Preference will be given to young people on the government social welfare system and grants to help them become employable and self-dependent.
