Heavily armed suspects escape after shootout in Alrode
Law enforcement confirmed that all stolen goods and a truck used were recovered from the scene.
Eight heavily armed suspects escape after a gun battle with law enforcement agencies in Alrode on December 21.
Operations manager Francois Jansen said information was leaked about a business robbery that was about to happen.
“Fox Security along with React 24 reacted quickly to put a game plan together to catch the suspects. On arrival eight heavily armed suspects opened fire on our units where we returned fire,” he said.
Francois said the suspects managed to jump the back wall where they had a getaway vehicle and escaped.
“All the stolen goods along with the stolen truck used in the robbery were recovered,” added Francois.
