Glenanda Clinic held its annual Pink Drive mammogram and testing event on September 22, with generous support from Vumatel in providing gift bags for attendees.
The event is a crucial part of the clinic’s community outreach. It aimed at promoting breast health awareness and early detection of cancer.
Lynette Meyer, a member of the Ward 23 health and social development committee and a Pink Drive representative, commended Glenanda Clinic for going above and beyond.
“Not only did the clinic provide mammogram services, but they also included cervical cancer tests for women while also catering to the health needs of the men in attendance,” said Meyer.
Meyer expressed her satisfaction with the event, noting that every candidate who applied for a mammogram made an appearance. She extended her heartfelt gratitude to Vumatel, the clinic staff, Pink Drive, and all those who took part in the event.
