Southern Stars Baseball Club participates in Senior Reserve Winter League

Southern Stars Baseball Club requested donations from the public to help them renovate the local sports field.

Southern Stars Baseball Club NPC held their first home games at Alberton for the The Senior Reserve Winter League which started recently.

All team members have put in a lot of effort to get the fields and teams ready for home games.

The club presently fields two teams in the Senior Reserve League as it prepares for the upcoming season.

Administrator of the club, Taryn Niemand, said that they wish to expand the club and generate enough money to renovate the fields in Alberton and for that they ask for public help.

Anyone above the age of 15 may participate in the winter season, which runs from May to September. Men and ladies welcome. Practices are every Saturday from 09:00 to 11:30 with games every Sunday.
