Finding those Easter eggs

Hunting Easter eggs is not just fun for the small ones with short legs. All ages of visitors that came to the Melville Koppies on Easter Sunday explored the Koppies in search of treasure that would secure them an Easter egg.

The best news is that the weekend’s visitors haven’t found all of them, so if you come on a Sunday, you might bag one for yourself.

If hunting Easter eggs is not your thing, you can self-guide or join a guided tour at 08:00 to glean more information or do the self-guided heritage trail.

Challenge yourself on the 5km trail or meander at your own pace along the many paths suitable for all ages.
Safe parking is available opposite the Melville Koppies entrance at Marks Park Sports Club on Judith Road, Emmarentia. There is security on the Koppies.

They charge entrance at R90 per person and R50 for U18s. Seasonal tickets for an adult at R500 per year are also available. These are not transferable. They use the income for the maintenance of the Koppies.
