Another successful event hosted by AACL

All those who contributed to the success of the fun walk were thanked by the organisers.

A fun walk called Walk on the Wild Side was held by the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) Johannesburg at the Thaba Trails on October 22.

The annual pet blessing was part of the fun walk. In addition to walking your fur baby through the scenic Thaba Eco Estate, there were also food stalls, a kiddies corner, and pet-related products for sale.

Families and their four-legged friends enjoyed the day.

The organisers thanked everyone who supported the fun walk and contributed to its success. The AACL JHB has been protecting and caring for animals since 1956. As an independent animal welfare organisation, it relies entirely on the generosity and goodwill of the animal-loving public for financial support.

AACL is an organisation that gets involved with all aspects of animal welfare: providing shelter for abandoned animals, promoting an efficient adoption program, prosecuting animal cruelty cases, running welfare hospitals for lower-income groups, visiting underprivileged areas with fully equipped mobile clinics and regularly addressing schools and clubs on the challenges of animal welfare.
