October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year Org Meyer Voortrekkers is daring you to paint the nails of someone you know pink, for a donation of your choosing.

Through Paint it Pink, people who do not typically wear nail polish are challenged to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
Anyone can wear pink shirts and paint their nails pink at any time of the year, but to wear them for a full month takes some guts, especially if you are a man.
After one of their members was diagnosed with cancer of a different nature a while back, he said that while he was busy with his treatment, women patients, who were there for their breast cancer treatment, provided him with the most support.
Breast cancer when found early enough can be cured. The problem is very few people like to go to the doctor and they may feel that it is not so bad, until it is worse than bad and then maybe too late.
Show people out there that they need to become aware of this disease by challenging someone to do it for a month. Do it for the people who are currently undergoing treatment and show your support. Do it for the people who have lost the battle and show that they are not forgotten. Do it to show that we have not lost hope
All funds raised will go to some non-profit organisations including CANSA.
