Win double tickets to the Madeira Fest

Are you looking for a fun way to learn and immerse yourself in Portuguese traditions and food?

Then experience the Madeira Island Culture at this fun Madeira Fest happening between September 30 and October 2 at Casa da Madeira at 46 Goodwood Road, Newmarket, Alberton.

This will be a fun weekend learning about the roots, food, drinks, and Portuguese dances with a South African twist.

It’s a festival of music with, among others, international Portuguese artists Sergio Rossi and João Quintino, local superstars Kurt Darren, Irene-Louise van Wyk, Brendan Peyper, Loufi and Biggy with Lee Cole and Diana-Lee de Sousa representing the South African Portuguese side supplement.

As if that’s not enough to entertain you, you can dance to the dust with favourites like Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels, as well as Brent Harris and Thee Jam.

Keep the dance floor moving with DJs Vin Deysel, Luis Almeida, Dino Bravo and Nicole de Silva!

Performance times and further artists to follow.

It is a family affair and kids are welcome to join as there will be a kids zone to keep them entertained.

Bring your friends and family for a fun-filled day or weekend in Alberton!

You can purchase a weekend pass for R400 per person or you can buy individual tickets at the gate.
