The youth should start their careers at the BCS Centre of Excellence

Register for full qualification courses at BCS Centre of Excellence.

Believers Care Society Centre of Excellence for Youth Development (BCS) provides a career head start for the youth after matric and skills for those seeking employment opportunities.

Young people should not sit at home while waiting for university or other opportunities. They can choose a career path out of over 21 full qualification courses offered by the BCS, either as a skills programme for three to six months or a full qualification programme for 12 months.

They can study as well from the range of Comptia and CISCO IT international qualifications offered at BCS. There is no payment required as this programme is already supported by the Gauteng Department of Social Development.

The application is open and registration will close on August 15. Classes will resume seven days later.

Courses enrolling are as follows: office skills/admin, computer course, project management, pc engineering, mobile engineering, contact centre support/call centre course, computerized bookkeeping/pastel accounting, graphic/multimedia design, system development, CISCO IT essentials and business administration NQF 4.

A certificate of competence is issued at the successful completion of the course. Graduation ceremonies are held upon course completion and achievement of competence.

Registration requirements include a copy of your ID, proof of residence or police affidavit confirming the address, short CV and previous qualifications – all certified.

The duration is three months, six months and 12 months respectively, attending from Monday to Friday for four hours each day. The age limit is 18 to 35 years, matric or equivalent, Grade 10s and 11s are also taken. All students must be willing to study and complete training in project duration.
