Joseph shares his lifestyle in the US

Even though he is in America, Joseph said he still miss the South.

It has been three years since Regents Park’s Joseph Somwe (22) moved to the United States of America, yet he still loves the South.

He said life is good and he wants to share the habits he learned in America to be successful. “These habits include having a good sleep, exercising, and money management to name a few. I sleep eight hours a day, read or listen to audiobooks, exercise daily, drink water, pray or meditate daily, do enjoyable work, and connect with friends and family.

“And when it comes to money management, I visit daveramsey.com, it helps anyone get out of debt and be stable. In the United States, many people use Apps to be productive. My favourite productivity Apps are time until, countdown time, streaks and google tasks. These apps will force you to be productive and push you to hit your goals and make you become a better person.”

This digital artist is now living in Chicago with his family. In 2018 he launched his art company called Somwe Art with his partner, John Nkosi.

“I miss the South African art industry landscape. It’s very contemporary that is growing rapidly.”
