Prove you are the ultimate K9 Survivor

Ultimate Pet Care and Dukes Academy for Dogs is hosting K9 Survivor on March 6 at Duke’s Academy.

K9 Survivor is a fun-filled day of competition between teams who have to compete in a variety of challenges.

The event is hosted to raise funds in support of Cause 4 Paws, a charity that looks after cats and dogs in townships.

The event will start at 10:00 and will cost R30 per person and R20 per dog. Children under the age of 10 enter for free.

People enter teams of six dogs and six handlers.

These teams compete against each other on the day in six different fun events. The team with the most points at the end of the day will be crowned K9 Survivor 2022.

The games on the day:

• Egg-and-spoon races over a jump with your dog

• Barrel races

• Tunnel mania

• Fastest recall

• Relay jumping

• Best dressed

The winners on the day will receive a trophy and there are great prizes up for grabs. There will also be food, drinks and several stalls at the event.
