Wear your sole for a good cause

Fighting cancer for children and teenagers.

Most families are facing the toughest battle they will ever have to face along with their little warriors who are at the heart of the battle.

With a simple donation of R10, every South African can support by wearing their soles to help a child to fight cancer.

And a call goes out to all to wear their flip-flops on February 12.

Communications coordinator for Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC) Taryn Seegers said with this campaign children and teenagers, along with their families, never have to stand alone.

“CHOC South Africa is a registered and internationally recognised non-profit organisation whose aim it is to provide life-changing and all-embracing support programmes to both the child or teenager and their families from the get-go once a diagnosis has been identified.

“With the support of all of us, from classrooms to boardrooms, let us walk in our flip-flops for a day to highlight CHOC’s passionate purpose, their refusal to back down and let childhood cancer win,” concluded Seegers.
