Elowayne Gouws, Fox Security operational manager said: “a resident in the Bassonia area was followed home and noticed that a vehicle pulled in behind them when entering their complex.”
“The suspects hijacked the resident but could not get out of the complex.”
“Our Fox Reaction and Tactical members responded and on arrival, the suspects tried to flee the scene. The suspects started shooting at our Reaction units but were apprehended by CPF and our Fox Reaction Team,” he said.
Gouws advised that residents should be vigilant when entering their premises, be aware of their surroundings and alert authorities should they see any suspicious behaviour.
