Be a part of the Move ONE Million protest

A worldwide peaceful protest, Move ONE Million (M1M), will take place on September 5 from 8am to 11am to form a human chain all the way down Kliprivier Road.

The group M1M was recently created on Facebook to encourage locals to speak out against South Africa’s supposed corrupt system.

“We will stand 1.5m apart, all the way from Swartkoppies to Bellairs,” said one of the organisers, Charl Bedeman.
The starting point will be on the corner of Panorama Shopping Centre moving down towards Swartkoppies.

Suggested parking spots:

• Cul De Sac leading in and out of Panorama Flea Market
• Grass patch in front of Panorama Shopping Centre (part of this is currently being utilised by taxi’s, please ensure they still have easy access to enter and exit)
• Grass island area in front of Panorama Shopping Centre

More suggested parking areas to be announced soon.

M1M memorabilia will be available on the day – look out for the gazebo. Please bring along the exact amount for your purchase as items are moving fast, so there may be limited stock available on the day.

More information is available on their Facebook page or alternatively, contact Charl on 076 339 2917.
