750 Amped campaign launched to fight Covid-19

Using the power of young people to respond to the covid-19 crisis in our communities

The Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA), alongside the National Department of Health, recently launched 750 Amped, a national campaign that aims to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 and to inspire changes in social behaviour through training, education, and awareness.

The campaign will use various mediums, including a website and mobile application, to engage with the community and to gather and share information.
What does the number 750 mean?

7 – Fighting the coronavirus seven days of the week
5- Five basic protective measures to fight the coronavirus
0 – the journey towards zero infections

 

This nationwide campaign will start in the following five provinces:

• Gauteng
• Freestate
• KwaZulu-Natal
• Eastern Cape
• Western Cape
