Dog gets help from René Parker

No one was able to help Max.

Max, the dog can look forward to a healthy life thanks to René Parker, the founder of Cause4Paws.

Parker said she received a call from her Pawrangers in Jackson informal settlement informing her of a dog that needs help, on March 20.

When she arrived it was clear that the dog was struggling to walk and he had a lot of swelling on his legs.

No one was able to help Max.

“I took Max to Brackenhurst Vet where they discovered that he had a huge abscess and that they needed to operate. As we speak, Max is fine where he is,” said René.

She said during this lockdown period her concern is the well-being of pets.

“Cause4Paws are blessed to have the Pawrangers staying at the Cause4Paws Care Centre to help with injured and sick animals.

“I have a permit to drive in and collect these animals that need emergency care in lockdown,” she added.

If there is anyone that would like to donate much-needed cat or dog food or perishables for Pawrangers, you can WhatsApp on 083 414 6144.

René Parker happy to assist with dog and cats.
