If you do go shopping, treat it as your normal shopping for what is needed immediately.
Food outlets such as grocery stores will be open during the lockdown and you will be allowed to travel to do the shopping for food, medicine, and medical emergencies and to collect a grant.
It is, however, important to know that all restaurants, cafes, bars and coffee shops will have to adhere to the directives laid down for lockdown as they are not on the list of essential services.
Food deliveries from restaurants, cafes, bars and coffee shops to homes will also not be allowed. Therefore, delivery services of fast food outlets or delivery services from restaurants, cafes, bars and coffee shops will also be under lockdown.
Lockdown means lockdown – you stay inside your property and you will only be allowed to go out for essential services which are food, medicine, and medical emergencies.
