Lentswe la Phetoho (LLP) reaches out to disadvantaged families in Naturena

Clothes and food parcels given to the less privileged.

Lentswe la Phetoho (LLP), a non-profit organisation, gave away a huge amount of clothes to the disadvantaged families in Naturena on March 7.

The giveaway was staged at Naturena Primary School 1.

On the day learners from Naturena Primary School 1 were awarded with certificates for attending LLP programmes.

The Naturena-based organisation focuses on rehabilitation programmes for young people consulting with them regarding abuse, gangsterism, criminal activities and ill-social behaviour, especially in schools.

People came in numbers and offered their support and the school hall was flooded by young and old people.

Those attending were spoilt with food parcels and a hearty lunch.

One of the founders, Nceba Ndube, told the COURIER that LLP is here to change people’s lives. “Our aim is to help all those who are from disadvantaged families and elderly people who no longer have the ability to support their loved ones,” said Ndube.
