The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store.

At approximately 4.30pm on Sunday, February 23, between six and eight armed robbers entered Winchester Hills Pick n Pay as supposed customers.

The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store.

It’s alleged a customer at the car wash in the shopping centre, saw what was happening and opened fire on the robbers. They retaliated, shooting two people, who were taken to hospital for medical treatment.

The customer saw them leave with the undisclosed amount of money.

SAPS, CPF and local security companies attended the scene.
