Simply Festive charity event hopes to raise much-needed funds for Paws R Us
Attend the Simply Fresh Charity Fundraiser in aid of Paws R Us SA and donate much-needed items to help their cause.
THE Simply Festive Charity Fundraiser event, in aid of Paws R Us SA, promises to be a kaleidoscope of colour, music, energy, fun activities, many stalls and celebration.
This event will be held at Life Grand Café at Mall of the South on December 1 from 12pm.
Entry is free, but donations will be welcomed from the Paws R Us wish list.
What can you expect?
A gin and whiskey festival hosted by Hendrick’s Gin and Craft Beer by The RedRock Brewing Company, free Suzuki Mall of The South play zone with children’s arts and crafts, jumping castles, face painting and bubble soccer by Go Big Parties.
Enjoy the beautiful smooth sounds of Lungi and party with DJ DAngelo and DJ Torino.
Simply Fresh Organic Market will be at the event so you can stock up on your organic and free-range farmy goodness, as well as special Christmas gifts.
“This is always a difficult time of year for animal shelters,” explained Chantelle Murray from Paws R Us SA, “We are hoping that this incredible event will help us look after the special animals in our care through to the New Year.
“We really appreciate all the support of the sponsors involved and are grateful for every donation made.”
Paws R Us SA is a companion animal welfare shelter that focuses on the rescue, shelter, networking and re-homing of abandoned, stray and unwanted dogs. The organisation is a registered non-profit company and a pro-life animal shelter.
The biker clubs will be doing a procession leading the truck with all the wish list donations from Mall of the South to the Paws R Us headquarter.
The Paws R Us SA donation wish list is the following: tinned dog food, blankets, pillows, slip leads, dog collars, step-in harnesses, hardy durable rubber toys, dog biscuits, dog brushes, dishwashing liquid, Jik and pine gel, F10 SXXD (1L bottle), steel horse buckets, hard bristle brooms, toilet brushes, towels and toiletries for the care staff.
