The Soweto derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates always has the attention of thousands of fans vying for their team to walk away with the bragging rights.
On November 9, it will be no different when the two local giants clash at FNB Stadium. The match starts at 3.30pm, but the gates will open at 11am.

Ample free parking is available for those who use their own transport, but it is recommended that fans use public transport or allocated taxis to reach the venue.
Road closures will take place from the early morning until the match finishes around the FNB Stadium.
The Absa Red Ticket Zone winners/holders must use Gate E to enter the stadium, which is on the Rea Vaya station side, by the Soweto Highway. The Red Zone will open from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
Stadium Management SA (SMSA) is working closely with both clubs, the Premier Soccer League (PSL), JMPD, SAPS and private security companies to ensure that spectators are safe and that traffic and transport logistics run smoothly on the day. With the match sold out for the event, over 87 000 spectators are expected to make their way to the iconic FNB Stadium.
Bertie Grobbelaar, managing director at SMSA, said, “The Soweto derby is one of the biggest events to be held annually at FNB Stadium, and the safety and security of spectators is our number one priority. SMSA is working very closely with stakeholders to plan every detail of the event. We encourage all spectators to arrive as early as possible. Gates open at 11am on the day, providing ample time for spectators to make their way to the stadium.”
Spectators are urged to take note that they must arrive with a ticket at the stadium which was purchased at one of the certified outlets.
