Circle of Friends enjoy fun morning

“I managed to remember eight of the 10 objects on the tray,” said Carrie Labuschagne, whereas one of the other members failed dismally and only remembered three objects. “I’ve always had a bad memory,” she laughed.

CIRCLE of Friends ladies group held its October meeting at one of the members’ homes with a fun morning and a game to see how good their memories are.

“I managed to remember eight of the 10 objects on the tray,” said Carrie Labuschagne, whereas one of the other members failed dismally and only remembered three objects. “I’ve always had a bad memory,” she laughed.

After the memory game, tea and delicious eats were served and then another member told of her life when she used to live in Zimbabwe many years ago.

“We enjoyed a wonderful life while we lived on our farm, but it’s all gone downhill since then. I do have many marvellous memories of life there though.” Before the meeting ended, each of the ladies received a teapot with fresh flowers. The next meeting will see them off out for an early Christmas lunch to a local restaurant.

“Christmas is coming around quickly, so before the ‘busy’ time begins we’ll enjoy our Christmas lunch,” they added.
