Donations for animals urgently needed

If you would like to donate any dog, puppy or cat food it will help so much and if anyone has any fencing it will be very much appreciated.

RENE Parker, a Mondeor resident, who runs Cause 4 Paws in Jackson’s Informal Settlement, was horrified to discover the container she houses food and essentials in for the dogs in the township, was broken into on the evening of September 11.

“The fence was broken down and the container door was broken open. All the dog, puppy and cat food was stolen together with our first aid kit medications, all our cleaning materials, collars, and leads as well as blankets. This is absolutely devastating as now we have no food at all for the animals,” said Rene.

If you would like to donate any dog, puppy or cat food it will help so much and if anyone has any fencing it will be very much appreciated. Please phone Rene on 083 414 6144 if you can assist, alternatively you can drop off the food or other essential items at the drop-off points.
