Apart from entrance fee, participants were asked to bring a toiletry item or sponsor a child with a dignity pack.

SCORES of people attended the 5km Dignity Colour Walk organised by Thabo T Madilola Foundation at the Weekend Market, Uncle Charlies, on August 31.

The aim of the Dignity Colour Walk was to raise dignity packs for children living with disabilities.

Each beneficiary living with disability will be given a bag consisting of the following toiletry items: sanitary towel for girls, roll-on for boys and girls, toothpaste, toothbrush, body lotion for boys and girls, face towel and bath soap.

Ndanganeni Madau from the foundation said, “This walk is to help the less fortunate children; children living with disabilities. Two schools that will benefit from today’s benefits are Phumla in Orlando West and Hamlet in Turffontein.”
