Forest High murder case postponed to September 20

The 20-year-old who is accused of stabbing and murdering fellow learner has had his matter postponed again while he remains out on bail.

MOHAMMED Mwela has yet again seen his case postponed to September 20, after appearing in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court, on August 30.

The 20-year-old is charged with murder and attempted murder of fellow learner, and seriously wounding other two learners, outside the Forest High School in Johannesburg on June 3.

The accused was making his third appearance in court, with his first appearance on June 10 where he was granted bail of R5 000.

He again appeared on July 10. The state postponed the matter as it awaited the DNA and postmortem results.

The state is consulting other relevant witnesses.
