Father’s Day Outings
There are many options out there for the perfect Father’s Day outing, all depending on your budget. We’ve come up with a list of ideas for a fun day out.
Visit a local brewery
Plan a trip to a brewery and join him for an afternoon of sampling different craft beers. He might just find a new favourite and you’ll be the one to thank.
Hit the golf course
If your dad is a golf lover, make his wish come true with tee time at his favourite golf course. Go the extra mile by organising his gear ahead of time.
Fire up the grill
Father’s Day is best celebrated with family and amazing food, so bringing out the charcoal for the grill is a no-brainer. Take the opportunity to learn a thing or two from Dad or simply cheer him on as he serves plate after plate of delicious goodness.
Book him a massage
Celebrating Dad can be as low-key as booking him a massage where he can truly feel at peace. Make it a special occasion for him and mom by booking a couple’s session and follow it up with a relaxing lunch.
The great outdoors
If your dad is an outdoorsy person, there are a lot of hikes and mountain biking trails to choose from. Make it a day out for the whole family and pack a delicious picnic lunch to take with.
A delicious meal out
Treat your dad to a meal at his favourite restaurant or try a new spot that you think might tickle his fancy.
Take a tour and explore the city
There are many options available to spend the day exploring the city on guided tour busses. Stop off at some local museums, art galleries and restaurants to soak up the city’s history.
Know your dad
Find something that your dad is passionate about and see if there is anything available that speaks to his interests in your area, this might be a car show, a whisky tasting, a book fair, a cooking class, a concert or even a flea market.
There are plenty of options out there to choose from and remember that your dad’s favourite way to spend the day will be with you.
