Two men were killed and two women were critically injured in a late-night bar shooting in Kempton Park CBD on Thursday evening.
According to Russel Meiring, spokesperson for ER24, all four were in their 30s.
Little information is available about the incident, which took place around 11pm.
“Medics found one man with a gunshot wound to his head, while the other man had a gunshot wound to his chest,” Meiring said, adding that nothing could be done for the victims and they were declared dead on scene.
Of the two female victims, one had a gunshot wound to her abdomen, while the other sustained gunshot wounds to her abdomen and leg.
“Paramedics treated the patients and provided both with advanced life-support interventions. Once treated, the patients were transported to hospital for urgent treatment,” Meiring said.
