Illegal dumping team on the prowl
Remember to please report illegal dumping to the hotline (082 779 1361).
DON’T dump illegally! This is the message from the City and Ward 23 councillor Sarah Wissler.
“You will be caught and you will face the consequences,” Wissler said.
“Last week Pikitup cleaned the area on the corner of Kliprivier Drive and True North Road, Mulbarton, of all illegal dumping,” added Wissler.
A new illegal dumping team has been formed and they have already caught 12 vehicles and impounded them in the past 10 days. Remember to please report illegal dumping to the hotline (082 779 1361) and make sure you get a clear picture of the vehicle with registration number and location.
