Domestic helpers learn more about cyber-crime

National Security talked about cyber-crime and social media and the dangers it may present.

AT this year’s first Domestic Watch meeting, held on February 20, National Security talked about cyber-crime and social media and the dangers it may present.

Topics discussed included scams through SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls or internet scams. These meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at Linhill Football Club, from 11am to noon.

Meetings are proudly supported by the Community Police Forum and SAPS, and a significant decrease in crime has been noticed in the neighbourhoods where these crime-educated domestic helpers work. For any enquiries, contact Lindsey on 082 818 8898.
